Who is Sherlock and why are we discussing his bowel movements in a Day Gear thread?

#1 on list,
DO NOT invite one pirate Jody whom does not know how to fly a spinnaker, as he brings just about every personal safety gear would need for a day sail on the local pond, to an open ocean trip! Like rain gear, personal overboard beacon, Inflatable PFD, personal beacon, hat, personal beacon, gloves, personal beacon, no how fly spinnaker directions, personal beacon........you get the idea! Did I mention the personal beacon......
Any way, above list look good, time to go spend time with spouse after a lovely trip across the sound and back including dinner!

Ya know... if I had not been greeted by someone that names his boat after his favorite liquor..and that said one actually knew how to raise their own spinnaker... there would never had been a need for the personal beacon... Glad I had it anyways... best to be sure of an exit point even if it costs tax payers mullah to rescue me because you drunk off the fumes of the name you painted on that sailing vessel!!!!

Actually Jody,
There is a difference between Amoretto, and Ameretto! Amoretto is little love in italian or at least I have been told, looked up online etc. Ameretto is the liquor spelling.
So I am NOT drunk of the fumes of Ameretto, but probably drunk of the fumes of Amoretto ie in luv with said boat, enjoy being on her.........yadda yadda.
As far as the spinnaker........one of these years, the crew will figger out how to hoist it!
By the way, I did not name Amoretto amoretto, the original owner did! I would have named her after my lovely spouse, probably not her name, but "greek princess" So much for that one! that is my answer, and I am sticking to it.
now back to seeing if i can ge teh borrowed light images site to load, so I can see if a pic was taken of us on BRBR! I do not have a pic of AmOretto sailing as of yet.

See - My C-27 was named "Amante" - which is love in Italian (without influence of alcohol!)....I admire your courage in not re-naming the boat as "Greek Princess" as some perverts would get the wrong impression.
Now I did take flattering photos of you and crew - and kindly even provided the evidence of said spinnaker - there were no pics so I didn't actually do anything but wear a PFD beacon, rain outfit, offshore in case I get eaten by a whale suit, and a 2 week supply of military rations... because it was possible - that my life could of been threatened - considering your smile when sailing outglows the sun when it appears - and I am surprised you are not yet a feature on that "Eclipse" commercial ... I rest my case

Jody
This weekend will not work, but somewhere down the road would. Have a jack and jill/double or single handed race from edmonds to kingston and back saturday, sunday over to PA to visit MIL and plant a bunch of begonia's for her, so need to pick those up this week, about 200-250 of them creatures!
On the otherhand, find yourself a crew mate, skippers meeting 9:30 on dock D, ie end of Davids dock, start time is 11am!

Having had Jody aboard, the gear list sounds familiar. I reckon he has SOME skill as he didn't piss on the deck in the head as we jumped that tanker wake at 8 knots whilst he was answering nature's call.
How's the Barberis coming Jody?
