'Cheat tool' Wow, can't believe such a useful piece of equipment, is actually called that! I shall carry on calling it a Portland Plotter, and what a useful piece of kit it is, bearings, headings, lat and lon etc, its made for navigating, not a gimmick in the slightest!
Do the people that spurn it still use a lead for sounding? 0o  !
