I like to anchor it, then sit in the mangroves with a high powered scope/rifle. Anybody setting foot aboard gets shot.

Or beware of charter boats.

On crowded anchorages you never know when an inexperienced sailor is going to put its anchor crossing your chain.

Once while I was having a nice meal I felt my boat moving. Turned out that a guy was pulling my anchor out of the bottom while trying to retrieve his anchor (he had tried to anchor several times).

I said to this "Captain" that he was pulling my anchor from the bottom. The Captain said: no way. Soon both anchors were out of water, mine tangled up with his. I had to put the engine on and my wife at the wheel I had to go with the dinghy to help untangle that mess to put my anchor back on the water.

I don't know what would have happened if I was not on board
