sailorjohn34 is on a distinguished road
I had a catalina 27 with an atomic 4, an engine designed to run at no more than 15degree heel angle, I motor sailed that boat all the way from san francisco to san diego at 1/4 throttle and a 105% jib up, she was at 10 degrees most of the trip doing 7.2 knots with the current on our transom.
as one comment said... keep the intake sucking air, keep the oil pick up sucking oil and keep the water intake sucking water.. and sail on!!! the stress on the prop doesn't make a bit of difference on the engine.. it's connected to the trans not the crankshaft.

jrd22 will become famous soon enough
I don't know of any reason why it would hurt the engine as everyone else has said.
One caution though, from personal experience, is that depending on where your fuel pick up tube is in your fuel tank, and the location/configuration of the tank and how much fuel you have in it, you can suck air into the fuel line and thus kill the engine which will require bleeding the whole system if you motor while heeled over. In my case we had two tanks, located port/starboard of the engine, with a cross over line open between them (bad design). The only fuel pick up tube was in the port tank and we were on a port tack at about 15-20 degrees. I started the engine in anticipation of going into an anchorage and of course the fuel was mostly in the starboard tank and the engine died within a few minutes of starting it.
