boatsafe navigation course

Has anyone taken boatsafe.com navigation course? would you recommend it?

I'm a beginner with about two season experience of short daysails but looking to make overnight cruises. I have some basic chart/gps nav knowledge, chapmans piloting book etc. But I wonder if I benefit from a more formal class.

thanks

Check out your local community college. I am on the coast and my local community college offers every marine class you could ever want. There are even field trips!

I do not know that specific course, but I teach navigation. There is always something to learn. The course outline looks good.

I have found classroom courses with an instructor present result in better learning. The instructor can find numerous ways to teach a concept with which folks are struggling.

Seeing how I teach people on how to acquire their USCG Licenses. I do reccomend that you do take the courses. Especially the Rules.
