What do i do after my seamanship specialist training?

Hello i did my interview and the officer asked me what do you do after all your training as a seamanship specialist well my 1st thought´s would be shouldn´t you be telling me this but no he was seriours and there for i had no idea can anyone help me with this thanks Alot.

What is a "seamanship specialist " and who sentenced you to the training program for it?

Apparently it is not a USA rating... So he could be Canadian or from europe.
So if that is a fact, those places are were he should be looking for work.
