Its weird, because I just had a look at that section of the website and we tollay miss 1 1/2 months and have just one entry and no photos:

6-9th March 2009 - Severe Tropical Cyclone Hamish - Category 5 cyclone - Hayman Island, The Whitsunday's, Queensland, Australia. We survived our first (and we hope last!!!) cyclone, anchored in a cyclone hole aboard Sea Life battling through the gale force winds for over 20 hours without sleep....we were lucky....we are safe, Sea life is safe and we didn't get the eye of the cyclone going over us, but rather an outer circle. It was hard work, but we did our best and got through it all with a laugh and a smile!

It was a difficult time and when it was over we didn't look back much... It really scared the crap outta us.
We just had the engine going and each gust just put it into forward to take the weight off the anchor.
We took very few photos and none in the worst part and no photos showing the wind gusts picking up the spary to mast height.
I really thought we were dead till maybe 6 hours before it hit. We had broadband internet and the Australian weather sites said we were going to have a direct hit of a Catagory 5 cyclone - they can't be survived; but an American site said it would miss us by 20nms.... then 30nms.... then 50nms. The center eventually missed us by 62nms... and I was glad as all hell for every inch of that 62 miles!
Nicolle was very brave. She didn't deserve it. She never complained once.
