Three shackle tether

I'm going offshore again. At age 62, and as I am less agile than I was, I want to clip on.

I just purchased a 3 shackle tether.

One quick release shackle for my harness and two heavy duty dual action shackles one on a 3 foot tether, one on a 6 foot tether.

Where do you secure the second dual action tether?

If it is connected to the D ring on the harness you lose the quick release capability...so how is the passive tether and shackle stowed safely?

Thanks in advance for recommendations.

That depends on the dual action shackle. Some can be hooked into a slot on the other.

Never hook the dual action clip to the D rings.
