sneuman is on a distinguished road
heeling

I''ve noticed that both myself and my family feel less in control of the boat when it heels over 15-20deg to port, but not so much when it''s heeling a similar amount to starboard. What''s up with that? Is there some psychological thing that goes on here? If so, why?

Perhaps you feel more in control on Starboard because you have the right of way in almost all passing situations. Or perhaps you own a boat that has a better balanced helm on starboard tack. Those are the only two thoughts that come to mind. Otherwise, perhaps you can get a discounted rate on group therapy sessions. 8^)
