Hatch cover

Last summer while trailering my 1974 Macgregor venture 22 the forward access cover hatch blew off.

I am trying to replace it, but no luck.
I spoke with Joel from idasailer.com and he suggested that I tried Sailnet.
Does any one know of how I can replace it.
OD is about 18.5 by 17.5 I am in the process of contacting parts@macgregor.com Thanks

don't know where to find it, but..

When the hatch cover on my grandfather's Gale Force died, we were able to cut a new one from an aluminum/rubber/aluminum sandwich material. Very light, doesn't rust, quite rigid, and it floats! If you can find some of that stuff, it's great! Next time I talk to my folks, I'll see where my dad got it, and report back!

Was his post 5-years ago or is there a glitch in the date?

It was 4 years ago. He fixed the problem or sold the boat.
