Thanks for the reply Greg. I had also thought about some liquid Ivory soap. That is some of the most gentle soap in the world. And it cleaned my kids pretty good! But it also proved itself versitle...

I read in a forum somewhere that Woolite is good for washing lines. It is reportedly very gentle and will not harm lines. Mine are pretty old but still in good condition but for very dirty and stiff....
