We were on our way to Bermuda and crossed golfstream at the same time as the Salty Dogs boats.

We encountered constant 25 to 35 knots but fortunately from the south and high seas (10' to 12')....

I have the Dutchman system on my C&C 30 and it helps a lot when I'm single handing. If the Dutchman's control lines are tensioned properly, it all gets flaked without any fuss. As mentioned here...

I wish... My '79 2QM15 has just enough HP left in it to get me in and out of Back Creek! At cruising RPM, 4.5 knots is the best I can hope for! :)
