5083 has traditionally been regarded as the best and most corrosion resistant boatbuilding aluminum for hull skins. 5086 is close and there are many other cheaper, but less good options such as 5456....

It was a tricky situation with a dragging anchor and tangled anchor cable so you did well to escape with no damage.
