Re: Precision 27 vs 28

Re: Precision 27 vs 28

I have a precision 28 going on my 3rd season.

I really like my boat but, after racing/crewing on an S2 9.2 and Catalina 30 FK I feel that my boat is quite tender. When I single handle I love it...

Re: When Do You Reef?

We should do a pool on it. My guess is 87lbs. Based on the Dwyer DM-560 section at 2.26 lbs/ft +10%

Re: Sailing South Dakota Style

Have not experienced a wind bomblet but we have days where it blows 20-25 with gusts of 30-40. That is the kind of wind that breaks stuff not to mention exhausting.
If we are racing and it pipes up...

Re: Worst Event During a Sail

Broken mast, spreader casting tore out of the side of it leaving a 4" x 4" hole. Did not get dis-masted but it ended the season last year 4 weeks early.

How are sales handled on the Classifieds

Title pretty much sums up what I am asking. Is Sailnet involved in any of the transactions similar to EBay or is it more like Craigslist?
