Just reading through this thread and I have not heard anyone mention the infra red heaters that are out. They are supposed to have a low energy draw and keep a place real warm. Has anyone here looked...

sailordave: I was born in DC so I know what you mean about 14th ST. NW!!! To me, for my small amount of time sailing, I would say the Chesapeake Bay!! But, I am looking forward to many other areas...

I will start my "learning" phase in the Chesapeake Bay. I live in Maryland so it is close to home. My eventual goal is to sail between Martha's Vineyard and Key West. This will be my preferred area...
