Re: When Do You Get Off?

Yeap, dying is the easiest part. The suffering of those who left behind is the hardest. I think about it, but yet I don't want to think about it. I don't have an answer. I will try very hard not...

Re: Safety briefing when boarding an unfamiliar boat.

This is just in a hypothetical situation and in the water I sail, I would not activate my EPIRB until I am ready to get on my life raft. In other word, the boat is sinking fast.

I hope I will...

Re: possible to buy a seaworthy sailboat under $20000 that requires very little fix?

Sooooo, are you telling me that you enjoy cat fight? :)

Edited:
Capta's question is reasonable and did not appear to be a troll question. It deserved to answer properly.

Now, you are on...

I have not. My buddy Robert Redford did in his movie. :D

Re: possible to buy a seaworthy sailboat under $20000 that requires very little fix?

It is rather simple because one shoe doesnít fit all.

There are many factors that will influence my decision. OP's situation is different from most of us. He is young and has plenty opportunity...

Re: possible to buy a seaworthy sailboat under $20000 that requires very little fix?

I agree. Right time at the right place in your own neighborhood, you can snatch a good deal from perhaps a recent widow who passionately hates his sailboat because he spent all their money and time...

Re: possible to buy a seaworthy sailboat under $20000 that requires very little fix?

Be wise and work out all scenarios and...

Re: possible to buy a seaworthy sailboat under $20000 that requires very little fix?

Re: possible to buy a seaworthy sailboat under $20000 that requires very little fix?
