Yes, thanks I should have been more specific, they are for ventilation. There is quite a bit of the flex duct in the compartments. Also the blower does not come on with ignition but rather its own...

I am working on my 86 P-39 and the rudder shaft collar is completely rusted out. Has anyone attempted this repair or know a source for parts? Will this have to be fabricated? Any help appreciated.
