Re: building a engine box to cover a new larger diesel

Thankyou for your thoughtful reply. I will err on the side of room with my new engine box, especially when I recall that alternators need to avoid overheating to last.

building a engine box to cover a new larger diesel

I am building a new engine box to cover a 3 cyl perkins diesel. Any ideas on how much room to leave for air circulation. Is there a regulation or is just a few inches clearance ok?...
