Dogs on boats.

I can help if you need crew. I sail out of Corpus Christi. I have the coast guard 6 pack liscense(operator of uninspected vessels) and sail single handed all the time.

chain splicing

If you are sending that splice into a deckpipe I would add a chaf guard to the splice. Some 2" heat shrink or some rawhide.

I have a bubble in my compass!?!

Well I took the thing apart and ended up having to buy 20 dollars in baby oil. I poured the oil in a bucket and put it back together under the oil to make sure and not get a bubble.

Paddle wheel transducer

On a side note I keep a large tooth brush they sell for dogs in the bilge next to my paddle wheel through hull fitting. Every time I pull it out I scrud that sucker down.

Oops! I drilled a hole in my hull!

Ok, I did it. I drilled a nice 8th inch hole in the bottom of my boat installing a bilge pump float switch.

So.. How do I repair the hole without pulling the boat out of the water?
