DRANO? If it turns out that you have to tear the system down PLEASE use a swim-mask (not vented goggles). Although it can take more than 2 days to show full effects/damage from a splashing that stuff...

Due to in port theft concerns I would be leery of having a high limit credit card in the bag, but would go to some lengths to have a hand pump r/o watermaker & Epirb there or packed in the raft.

I asked about that alloy as I remember it from a few decades ago being touted by (Bruce Roberts?) a build it yourself boat plans outfit as a no coating needed...
