I recently bought a Pentax WG-III. Not only suitable for shallow underwater use, it even has a setting to compensate for underwater focus. So far, very happy with it.

I was aboard one of those other sailboats; major regatta, the Commonwealth Cup, sponsored by the Commonwealth Yacht Club. Another option is the Kentucky Lake Sailing Club.

Won't do you a lot of good in the water, but once ashore, you might find a space blanket handy. It will help conserve body heat and doesn't take up much space
