I believe according to the Laws of the State of Florida, the property owners are limited to the land above the mean high water mark... not beyond... They are using fear tactics to convince the State...

There is a product called BARTENDERS FRIEND... pure oxaylic cleanser...great for removing rust stains and cleaning teak. Its sold in most grocery stores.

Yep...gonna try teak cleaner... probably going to end up doing the whole bulkhead to get it all to one color, then re oil/stain it... cant look any worse than it does now.

No Im not sure...its a Watkins 30... Its unvarnished... rubbed oil.. so I was guessing teak... but according to my wife...Ive been wrong before..although I cant remember when.

Ive heard that white vinegar and little baking soda may work.... at least you wont hurt anything trying something that simple..

Actually, I had considered a teak trim baseboard just to cover the stuff up...could be a quick and easy solution.

I would suggest that you reconsider...take someone along with you and leave around 5pm or so...and sail through the night....the water is just as wet at night... choose your weather window...
