Actually depending on the weld joint situaition a stick may very well be better. Are we talking aluminium or stainless?

A tig with the right filler would be preferable but a stick with the right rod would do in the right hands. Been welding for over 25 years. Not sure off hand what the right filler is but not hard...

Talking man hours for the sail maker to complete a mainsail for a 30' yacht. Normal standard main nothing fancy.

pretty sure its not in simulator mode. I dont think so anyway. I get an accurate map and the depth readings are always a few feet deeper than my other depth gauge that does have a transducer. ...

Plus teak dont turn to black mold. I have no problem keeping up teak. Try keeping up pine. Three of four weeks after launch and no time or weather gap and its already to late.

shes been through asa classes and knows how to sail. Just dont like heeling. :rolleyes: But yea, she'll go out 40 miles fishing with her Dad.
