it is messina and the white, blue 'building' in the background is actually a ferry... ;)
it would have been my second hint, because i haven't seen such ferry ships anywhere...

that is the hmas Parramatta, a torpedo boat destroyer...
lying on the mud banks north of Milson Island in the Hawkesbury River... ;)

i haven't been here for quite some time but that image looks like palau to me...
i do not know of any place in vietnam with the same appearance but i might be wrong as i have often been... ;-)

That is galapagos...
The round island in the image is isla santa cruz and the one to the right a little down is isla de san cristobal...

Am i right? ;)

Yes - we did see some on the recent delivery from corfu to portsmouth, following the same route from south spain on as in this delivery...
They are quite common along the spanish coast around cabo...

I started sailing at the age of 28 and am 47 years old now...
But i did grew up on a farm... ;)

And everything is fine with my balance sense doing a lot of skiing, cycling, hiking and alpine...

Reading through all this i have to say, i must be blessed... ;)
The only time i feel dizzy and uncomfortable is on land after some time on the boat... especially in confined spaces like a toilet......

My guess is propane...
This stuff is the most dangerous you have on a boat...
It is heavier than air and accumulates in the bilges without you noticing it... A spark from any electrical instrument...

I only felt slightly sick once, when i was at the chart table in a bad sea...
The problem was that there was a stench of diesel from the motor... As soon as i was back up on deck, i felt like a fish...

We had something similar once but it was not only one...
For the best part of an hour we watched those things draw fiery lines across the sky and explode somewhere so high up that you could not hear...
