Thanks all! Lots of things I didn't think of and learned a lot. I think I got it fixed but I still might get a tachometer so I can test more fully. But the good news is I got power!

Good suggestion. Prop is to spec. But I guess something causing excessive friction on the shaft might do similar but it's all so quiet. I will decouple the shaft and see if I can turn it easily by...

I acquired A nice rebuilt 1GM10 engine and installed it to push my 26ft Albin. When not in gear It revs quickly to high rpm and runs smoothly. As soon as i put it in gear it takes 60 sec or more to...
