You might get a compression check. Diesels with lost compression, relying on compression to fire are hard starting when cold and just fine when warmed up. Check your tack idle speed to that...

I think that any amount of petroleum spilt in our waters is to much. That vessel would also carry lube oil and contaniments related to refridgeration. Were i not retired I would be quite happy to go...
