Catamaran filling with water!

Hi all,

I have a 1976 31' Prout sailing cat. I am a liveaboard. I have finally found the source of my "leak" in my upper deck (where the settee is, as opposed to the lower pontoon walkways). I...

Sailing my cat, am I missing something?

The times I have tried to sail my Prout (in poor summer wind), I have had problems tacking. I have a jib, a...

Situation has improved

Well, I might not know about electrical systems, but I do have the power of deduction. I ended up switching to the other shore outlet and I think it is a problem with the dock electricity and not the...

Problems with Heart Interface Inverter/Charger

I have a Heart Interface Inverter/Charger, which appears to be in the older range. The problem is that in the middle of the night (twice now--and this is without any appliances other than a fan on),...

I was just about to ask a similar question. I have a 31' Prout with a 5K BTU unit in a cut-in to the cockpit. I had the unit on during a very hot week here in MD (this last week). I bought a...

Ok. Thanks. I realized why the former owners have six sun showers aboard!! To do their washing! They had lived it on it, but then made it their weekender sailboat (can I tell you how fun it was to...

Water tank question

So I just bought a 1977 31' Prout Quest and just learned where my water tanks are. I thought it was the bilge! Couldn't figure out why there was water in there. It is basically just a space under a...

I'm not so much worried about hurting their feelings as much as getting off on the wrong foot, thereby making it less possible to get what I want, which is this boat at $35k. I've been told they are...
