Had a great weekend only used small jib still moved along at 5 knots I'm glad I chose not to use a reefed main 30 miles each way camped out overnight had a few gust 25 plus glad I went

Is 22 knot winds 2-3 ft seas with a moment period of 2-3 sec to rough for a 26 Bristol I have one read in main and a small jib if I need it with limited sailing experience about 30 total days on this...

I grew up in Alex in the 70s the river changes because of the flow sand bars come and go but there are some deal draft sail boats around even back in the creeks update your charts yearly
