Ours gets removed after the main is up and attached to a fixed point on the back stay. Quick to remove and attach, and stay out of the way of the sail.

14 gauge is a bit big for led mast lights. I would get 16 gauge for that and use the 14 for any 110v lights or recepticles you have on the interior.

Don't touch lights cause they are hotter than you fingers led, incandescent or other wise,, but led's do draw less power.

I agree with smith,,i rebuilt my carb on an a4 and the little rubber end was completely gone major flooding occurred due to this, grab a carb kit and see what happens. Another thought is hotter...

I haven't seen a A-4 coupled to a sail drive before but, I've got a 40 year old A-4 been rebuilt once if well maintained they are a solid reliable engine. and all parts are readily avalible.

Should not be a problem since the 120 v receptical is rated for 15 amp the house breaker will trip in an over current situation, just a mater of flippin the breaker back on and don't do what ever...
