I used one and found that it takes up too much space stored, all the seats and deck parts plus oars have to be put below, too many bolts that can be lost and stern handles. Then the boat on life...

It will work better if you add a block & tackle to the swivel end, as the tighter the cable the better it works.....Dale

This is what I use on my Cal it's made by Schafer, Top swivel turn and slides on fore stay drum clips to deck. Hanks are ignored.lift swivel with jib halyard. Or drop roller furler and use hanks on...
