Boat with this issue the other day is still at marina as of two hrs ago. Hopefully the outgoing soon to be PC is able to get boat going. Would be bad to miss last cruise as commodore eh!

Being as I was just talking to a member of my YC with twin Cats, and same issue.....turned out to be an oil fill sensor that go out after x years. A couple of other members have had the same issue...

I agree with Brian, all my diesels turn the oil black really quick. That is because it is collecting the soot residue. Which I suppose is a good thing frankly......My 85 2gm20 turns the oil black...

Most of the local riggers I know of, will travel thru out the lower salish sea. I've seen Toss's little PT cruiser or some ideration of that kind of rig in Olympia, seattle, north to everett etc....
