bite the bullet and get a custom cover. It would be a plus if you sell. The big problem is when water gets under fittings and then freezes breaking the seal and allowing water into the deck.

we live in Dover. There is no good place for a 39' boat in delaware except Lewes. Most of the slips are leased by property owners along the canal. We ended up at Kent Narrows Md. There are more...

We cut off the hitch on the trailer and found a tube that would slide into the trailer tongue. drilled a couple of holes thru the tongue and tube to extend the tube then welded a coupler to the end...

Windsong is at Kent Narrows MD. Talked to the marina owner this morning and all is well except canvas. Glad we took all canvas including bimini on saturday. Hope others faired as well

zarcor sells a mount for your I-pad. We use navimatics/active captain. I-sail is good. Windfinder is also helpful. But I have a chartbook on the shelf. The Admiral really likes the I-pad.

I just came across a hand held gps that compensates for tacking. With the right inputs it is touted to give you an arrival time when tacking upwind if you tack when it instructs you to. Anyone use it...

you can use a short piece of chafing tube feed the end of the old halyard in one end and the new halyard in the other end, works like chinese finger traps.
