I have 4 ea 1/2" lines 3 strand, 2 bow, 2 stern... never a problem. Even in hurricanes. 27' 6400#. Reasonably protected slip except from the north.

To get more of a mirror finish you need to wet sand with some intermediate grits of paper. The 320 leaves fine scratches that are too much to get out with 1500. I would suggest after the 320 move up...
