Yes, agree C-Map charts / cartridges are nice. If later on you get into pc chartplotting, you can get a card reader for the pc and with either NavPak, MaxSea, or Raytech software can read the C-Map...

mlc101, yes, nice thing about the CMAP NT+ cartridges is that MaxSea, Raytech & NavPak software can read them with a cartridge reader. Sorry that I didn''t add this in previous posting.

Another nav software program maybe worth looking at is NavPak Pro. Like Nobeltec reads several raster formats, the diff being the vector as it reads C-MAP charts.

Someone told me that he saw a new laptop with 4 USB ports, has anyone seen one of these, and if so what kind is it?
I use a program called NavPak which set up easy on my USB port using an adapter...
