A 50/50 mix of vinegar and water will take care of most cleaning needs and kill most mold. Add a little lemon oil or lemon extract in a pinch to add a fresh scent.

Since the motor runs fine in reverse, but stalls in forward...I'm suspecting something is going on in the transmission since that's the only thing that has changed...

I carry the Myerchin offshore crew knife in its sheath on my belt. I also generally have the Leatherman Juice CS4 in my pocket or onboard somewhere.
