I found the best location for the oil filter is to mount it on the starboard side of the engine, between the flywheel and alternator. I lag bolted the filter mount to the wall separating the engine...

Ranger 33 FWC and oil filter

I'm about to install a FWC system and oil filter in my Ranger 33 and would like comments from others on where they placed the heat exchanger and oil filter.

I just bought the boat with the Atomic 4 and the PO wasn't sure about the oil pressure. I started the engine andt he gauge reads 40psi at running speed but drops to 5 or 6psi at idle. Ron Moyer said...

Spray Dodger plans for Ranger 33
