You DO need bottom paint in fresh water! Obviously there are different paints for different regions, but even WITH bottom paint my boat grew algeae in MN 20 years ago.

It was bad paint, but still.

I agree! That's a great trip. Milwaukee is a great port, so is Prt Washington. And Door County would be a perfect summer home on the boat if you could take that much time.

It has more to do with the angle of vanishing stability and keel side area, not just draft. I would think a lot of Morgan 321 owners could give you the best advice on real world conditions.
