For a quick guesstimate, figure on an American boat costing about double the U.S. price by the time you get it home in Canada.

Duty, GST, PST, Customs Agent fees, Title office fees, hoisting,...

They mostly sail better than Nauticats as well. You will spend 80% or 90% of your time under power with a Nauticat around here - they were designed for the Baltic and North Sea.

If you limit yourself to BC or even Canada as a whole, it's going to be a wait. If you look in the entire PNW, including the US, it's a much more active market:

Like rent controlled apartments in NYC, you pretty much have to wait for an owner to die to get one of those boats.
