I'll have to look into this Sail Pro 6hp model, it has 5 amp output for batteries too. That sounds good, as well as a high thrust prop.

If you go sailing in the rain, do you drop your main and cover it, furl your Genoa/Jib?

Or dock and sheet them in hard for a day until they dry?

I've never used epoxy, but fiberglass resin doesn't penetrate a whole lot from what I've seen.

I assume "penetrating" epoxy would probably soak easily through balsa.

This has been gone over and over again. Just wondering, one thing. Once the old core is stripped out, is the new balsa core to be wetted into place, as in fully saturated in the resin?
