Yea gas was 28 cents/gallon when I was a kid in High School. Not saying I am old but remember my Father refusing to buy a boat made out of plastic.

Trailer back and forth across the USA? Gas is close to $4 a gallon. You should get a Prius and buy a boat on each coast. You would pay for them in, say 1 1/2 trips.
