You will need to generously coat the terminals with a product like NO-OX-ID...

What gauge wire..? Perhaps the best bet are what well drillers use for submersible well pumps. They are called Sta-Kons or other wise known as adhesive lined heat shrink butt splices ....

Looks like the Deka GC10 = 215 Ah

Call Deka for a Peukert, charge efficiency number and a temp to SOC curve if you can get it. Or just make life easy and go with a Smart Gauge...;)

Yes, if you use the temp sensor, and select it in the menu, it is using temp in the SOC calculation. You can also adjust the slope if you can get a temp curve from your battery manufacturer....

I probably do 100+ tubing cuts per year and use a Ridgid pipe cutter with heavy duty SS capable cutting wheels. This is the plumbing grade Ridgid, from a plumbing supply house, not the cheap stuff...

For an Ah counter the Link-Pro is pretty much the gold standard but it is over priced compared to the Victron...

I use a Link-Pro on my own boat but only because the Smart Gauge does not work on...
