burning rich, very rich. Float not set properly and idle/mixture not set properly. Don't waste your time on a compression check.

Be VERY careful with "the boat smells like gas" as vapors/fumes...

we did pretty well with a mobile hot spot and the required data plan. We did this separate from our cell phone. The did the bullet for the boat, and we were often able to use the marina WIFI.

As long as the outlet will be "inside"....a hardware store box is just fine, as is the outlet itself. There is no need to pay the "marine" store premium. IF you have room, an oversize box is easier...
