Hey "Faster"... THANKS! YES, I can fabricate some gudgeons or pintles (??? have to Google those! LOL) and as far as the plywood encased rudder... I AM a Carpenter, and Marine Plywood is STILL WOOD! ...

I've looked at a few sailboats and wasn't sure what I wanted, but found (what I believe is) a great "First Sailboat" .. She's a 1980 AMF 2100 (Alcort) that has been neglected and needs a lot of TLC....
