I've got plenty of DC, 4 85 watt solar panels and KISS wind generator, the only thing we will use the genset for is to run the hotwater heater and the airconditioning... which the dc set won't do.

I have seen them in the past, they are a trapazoid hatch replacement, meaning the whole hatch is lexan, as opposed to an FG hatch with a lexan window.

We are going to sail our new (to us) catalina 30 over to the bahamas in August, since our anchorage is in Stuart, I figure we'll head for the north end this trip.
We have 9 days to spend bumping...
