A Potter 14 or 15 would be a fine boat for you if you can find one in your budget. Also a SanFrancisco Pelican would be a great boat.

Trekka was actually built by John Guzzwell. He went on to become a master boat builder. He lives here in Washington state and is still involved in the boating community.

Agreed, most syn oil IS petroleum based. Long story short, it has been molecularly modified to make all of the molecules the same size. Hence less breakdown and thus better lubrication through out...

Judy B. Is correct. There is no flattening cringle on the leach. What you see that appears to be a cringle is indeed the leach line cleat.
