Re: Rigging Replacement and StaLocks

Re: 2015 Sailing Season on the Chesapeake

My daughter and I fought a hard battle in last night's beer can race.
She's damn good crew, and people are starting to take us seriously.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend

Hey, after the last two winters we've had, spent huddling under blankets and heavy clothing and last year's very mild summer, it is time for some SKIN and SUN.

My daughters and girlfriend hate me...

It's looking like Jack Squat for breeze until *maybe* Sunday.
I'm NOT motoring all over the place this weekend.

Re: Memorial Day Weekend

There is something to be said for stability, especially if a girl is sunning herself on your boat.

Re: Who''s living on what??

Only 5% didn't get it? Most people I talk to, find living aboard inconceivable.

I lived aboard my Pearson 30 for almost a year, during my divorce. Loved every minute of it and it's not nearly as...

Re: Memorial Day Weekend

I finally got around to reading this at home, where the pictures weren't blocked by the corporate firewall.

She look good, BL. I enjoy reading your blog.
I'm looking forward to seeing the boat...

Re: New USCG mobile app

Very interesting. The part I'm most interested in, is the float plan.

Once you fill it out, where does it go? The CG? Your family?

Re: Poll: Baltimore as a Destination

G9-

No, I don't think it's the "same". All I'm saying, is that the rural areas are not the bucolic paradise that some are making it out to be.

Also, it's disingenuous to just say that "cities...

How do you singlehanders scout for them, without a crew member to help you watch for them?

Re: Engine Instruments Fail to Read - Help!

Obviously the instruments don't all use the same sending unit (oil pressure, battery voltage, etc) from the engine, so you can rule that out. However, they probably are bundled together after a...

People are preying on bored and disaffected youth. The youth become...

Re: 2015 Sailing Season on the Chesapeake

After drifting in 0-5kts for the first 4 races of the season, Wednesday is going to be honkin'.
