We have a 1975 Bristol 24 it is dry as a bone, so yes it is possible to find a boat in the condition you would prefer.

fwiw, its a stove, and likely to be hot, I would find it odd that some one would put their hand on a stove without checking heat first, that goes for putting anything flammable on top of a stove as...
