involving water or boats? would have to be taking Our 18 month old grandson for his 1st ride in a kayak. he loved it, and hope I can top it with a sailboat ride when I can finaly get the boat here....

Deal with that more in a kayak with the bass/ski boats on the local lakes....
We had one on Lake James that past from behind on the port side between us and shore that was only 20 yards off the port...

Lake Lure is about 5 miles away, and sailed it many times with the old boat. The wind is tricky on mountain lakes, usually inconsistent and funnels down the valleys.

The new hull is in fair shape,...

Filled with rain water on the trailer, and had a weak hull from previous owner damage. pushed the bunk into the hull.

New here from Western NC

We have had several boats over the years, Our Ensenada 20 has been our favorite, but a busted hull took us out of sailing...untill I found a replacement hull and leave in the morning to go get it....
