Dammit.
I launched a small boat last week in Northern Lake Michigan and cannot imagine being 'in' that water.

I've coasted in many times, but not yet sailed to the marina slip.
I think I'd reach for the gas dock unless it was very late and quiet.

Mac is a great place to stay on a boat. It is very different when the last ferry goes home.
I don't know of any suitable anchorages around the island for overnight, but there is a designated area...
