Thanks I forgot about the cabin door. All I measured was the companion way. Your right it would not fit. I did get measurements from a guy that had a plastic one made. Sorry for the delay

I bought a stearboard cup holder that mounts to the tubing. Then removed the top cup ring and mounted my handhealed gps to the flat base. Works great. Did the ICW from the c &d to miami no problems

Also check out the SSCA they have a great weekend get together "Gam" at camp letts in annapolis once a year. Great people and some great classes. Bring the boat.

try SOS singles on sail boats, they sponsor weekend sailing on larger boats in the Annapolis area. They have a great spring training get together this weekend. great way to sail different boats.

I suggest he look into SOS singles on sailboats, close cheap and a great spring workshop in a few weeks lots of folks and lots of boats...
